WW : Storage Auction Finds

I have not written a Wordless Wednesday post in a long time. I do miss creating them. As I love to use as many photos as I can in my articles.

You ask what is "Wordless Wednesday"? It is a blog post a blogger creates using as many photos as they can with as little to no words. So, those websites that require so many words per post or blog can still join in the fun. Some people choose one photo to talk about. While other like to use many. Whatever way you choose. Make sure you follow the rules of the websites you post on.

I went to a storage auction a week ago today. I paid $40 on a unit I won the bid on. I have got many things from that unit. There was as much trash, as they were items. Many items are collectables. Now I need to start to determine if I am going to keep anything or find some way to sell it.

This glass Chess set will be kept - I gave it to my teenage son. As he plays Chess with my boyfriend.

This is a 1940's Bible - Version King James. not sure if I want to keep it or not. I do plan to read it to see how different it is from my 1970's version.

Found someone to buy this little gem already. Basically it was traded for a 50 dollar blow dryer.

Not sure if we plan to keep or sell these. I believe my boyfriend has his eye on one of the wooden boxes.

I found a couple sets of different playing cards. One was Dungeon and Dragons. Plan on selling these.

I plan on keeping this jewelry box. As I like the looks of it. It is full of different jewelry which I haven't decided if my daughter and I are going to keep or sell yet.

This frog belongs to a collection. I already have the turtle that is in this collection. I plan on keeping this one. in my bathroom. As the frog can be taken apart to place something in. Such as jewelry before heading in the shower or bath.

Selling this - A table with legs that screw on. All the pieces are here. I already have one. I don't need this one.

Have you created your "Wordless Wednesday" post yet? Have you go to storage auctions? if so, what do you look for to buy?

WW - Dog Fashion

Today for my wordless wednesday post. I want to show off Rascal and Moose in their new sweaters.

Rascals new sweater is gray, black with a white bone on the back. He loves taking photos. He loves wearing clothes. He may have long hair. However, the cold and snow affects him something fierce.

Moose would not pose for me at all. His sweater is black with different shades of gray.

I think was mad at me for putting the sweater on him. However, he has been spending more time outside since it has grown colder.

Moose was so upset for having the sweater he climbed up on my boyfriend's lap to pout.

I mean look at Moose's face. I don't think he was happy with me at all.

However, I bought each sweater at Walmart. The prices were from $3.99 to $5.99 depending on size. Sizes range from extra small to large. rascal fit in an extra small. Moose fits in a medium. I choose each sweater. As they were the only to similar in colors.

The Undercover Beagle and Her Sidekick Boston Blackie Book Review

I received this book awhile back. I handed to my 15 year old special needs daughter to read, who is on a 4th grade reading level. She had trouble with some of the big words. I showed her in the back of the book where she could find some definitions for the words she was having trouble. She took about a month to finish the book.

After my daughter read. I read it to. That way I could answer any questions she had. The book was based on several different animals characters and a mystery to solve. I found it to funny and amusing.

I liked several of the lessons taught in the book. I loved how the black bear made fun of the owl's name. The owl took it in strife without getting mad. That was a very good point. As it showed my daughter she doesn't have to react negatively when someone calls her a name or pronounces her name the wrong way. It shows my daughter a way to laugh it off. I also like the fact the book shows how working together as a team can get things accomplished.

If I had to rate this book from 1 to 5. 5 being the highest rating. I would give this book a 5. As this book did not disappoint one bit.

10 Things to Avoid Feeding Your Dogs

With the holidays coming up. I want to express how important it is to keep certain foods away from your dogs. Some foods will kill your dog if they eat it. Maybe not right away. However, your dog will suffer till the end. If you can't get it to a vet quick enough. I don't know about you but the closest 24 hour vet is an hour from I live. I don't want to risk any chances with my dogs life. As I had a scare when one of my dogs decided to pick up a stick that was full of ants that bite him.

Here is a list of foods to keep away from your pet. Otherwise they can get deathly sick and die. If you're going to feed your dog from the table this holiday season. Make sure these are not one of them :

1. Seeds or pits - Any seed (apple, grape, peach etc.) or pits (cherries) As they are toxic to dogs.
2. Raisins or grapes - These can cause irreversible kidney damage.
3. Chocolate - In small amount dogs seem to do fine. however, since dogs don't have an off button when it comes to eating. it is best to stay clear. As chocolate is known to be toxic to dogs.
4. Onions & Garlic - Some people use garlic to ward off fleas. There is a better natural way using coconut butter oil and yeast. garlic is known to be more toxic than onions.
5. Xylitol - What is this? It is an artificial sweetener in candies and gum. One piece will kill a 10 pound dog.
6. Raw dough - Usually has a high amount of yeast that will cause the dog's stomach to expand and can explode.
7. Mushrooms - Some mushrooms are safe for dogs. It is best to teach your dog these are bad. So, they don't digest any in the wild or up against the tree. Mistakenly eating poisonous ones. Unless you know the difference don't feed them to your dog.
8. Currants - Are related to grapes. They are more toxic. If your dog ingests some. If you don't see vomiting or diarrhea right away. Get your dog to a vet.
9. Raw or green potatoes - While eating raw potatoes may be enjoyable for humans. It is toxic to dogs.
10. Avocados - Are highly toxic to dogs.

Never feed your dogs the seeds, stems, or leaves of any fruit or veggies. As many are highly toxic to dogs. Dogs are not meant to be vegetarians.

For those who like to keep their dogs as healthy as possible. Many are using human food. Instead of that bag of dry dog food. Which we know not meet our dogs daily needs.

Many people are resorting to giving their dogs a raw diet. Mixing it with dry dog food of their choice.  Here are 10 foods you can feed your dog to keep your dog's vision sharp :

1. Blueberries
2. Broccoli
3. Carrots
4. Fish - Examples : Salmon, tuna, cod, haddock, and sardines.
5. Eggs
6. Garlic
7. Kale
8. Pumpkin
9. Sweet Potato
10. Tomato

You can serve as a mashed combination mixed together. By combining a few fruit and veggies in a blender or food processor with a 1/2 cup of water.

Or chop the fruit and veggies up. Place in medium saucepan with water and a couple teaspoons of olive oil to a boil. Simmer. Cool. Serve on top of dry dog food.

Top off with egg or fish.

Annies Homegrown Organic Tomato Soup Review

The other day my family tried the new "Annie's Homegrown Organic soup", flavored tomato. Of course being tomato soup, I had to make toast n' cheese to go with tomato soup. A family tradition. You can't have tomato soup without toast n' cheese. No matter what brand you eat. The soup came in a box instead of traditional soup in a can. Now, my teenagers did not like the taste of this soup. I think they are too use to another brand you have to combine water or milk with. This "Annie's Homegrown Organic Tomato soup" does not require you to mix with anything. All you do is pour in a pan and heat it up. Quick and easy to pour from a box. My boyfriend and I loved the taste. It is the perfect size to use as a quick lunch date on the go. I plan to keep a couple boxes on hand, just for that. You can check out more about "Annie's Homegrown Organic soups" www.annies.com to learn more about the brand and other flavors that are offered.

I would recommend this brand and flavor to others. I plan on sharing with my mom and other people I know that enjoys tomato soup.

I am part of Influenster which I received free products to test and review. I received several products to try out.

I Was Chosen To Review Chobani Yogurt

I was fortunate to be selected by Buzz Agent to be select for the Chobani yogurt. As I have been wondering after seeing so many nice reviews online about the product.

I am not a big fan of greek yogurt. My son Michael and daughter Kassandra both have been pressing me to try greek yogurt versus regular brands. Stating the health benefits, taste, and overall is a better yogurt. You know how teenagers are when they want mom to buy something.

I drove to my local Kroger's Store in Defiance, Ohio. I had my coupons in hand. I wasn't sure where the Chobani yogurt was located. I stopped to ask a store employee for help. The store employee was eager to help and assist with all my shopping needs. The employee quickly showed me where the Chobani  yogurt was located at.

Chatting with the store employee a little bit further, the employee was wondering where everyone was getting the coupons at. As they didn't see them in the local paper. I explained I was able to get the coupons through a program and website called Bzz Agent. I explained a little bit about how it all works. Basically, I get a product or coupon for free, where I  must leave feedback on the website and review about the product or coupon.

I opt to ask if his store has been selling alot of the Chobani yogurt compared to the other brands. The employee assured me the product was flying off the shelves with the coupons. As it was the second time that day the employee had to restock the shelf.

Boy! I can't wait til I get home to try the Chobani greek yogurt. On my way now. Part 2 coming soon.

Have you tried Chobani Greek yogurt yet?
