Moose And Rascal Showing Off Their New Collars

I ordered a couple collars off a website. I received both of them today. One was small for Rascal. The other was a large size for Moose.

Those two really know how to take a good photo together. I took the photos with my smartphone. It looks dark in my living room. It really isn't. My smart phones doesn't take good photos.

Moose looks out for Rascal. He looks out for too. I know if anyone would walk in my home that is not suppose to be here. He would try to protect me. It's the Chihuahua in him that makes him think he is bigger dog than he really is.

Moose was done taking photos. I was able to get one more of Rascal before he ran off too.

(Disclaimer : The website does say not all anglicized names a come from Irish origin.  Some are names that have been used in Ireland.)

Wordless Wednesday 3/16/2016

I have decided to share another page to the Wordless Wednesday files. It will feature more than one subject.

This photo is of last night's sun setting. I was able to see it for a brief few minutes before the sunset was covered up by clouds.

Spring is in the air. Many bloggers are sharing photographs of flowers. Flowers have not sprung in my area yet. Bushes like these are thriving.

Last night's dinner was French green beans, rosemary scallops potatoes, biscuits and homemade gravy, served with fried Parmesan chicken.

My grandson loves being outside when he visits grandma. He will two in June.

Rascal, the long chihuahua loves to find tree limbs to chew on. He is loving the warmer weather.

Moose the Chug (chihuahua / pug mix) is hiding under the table from my daughter. Moose say," Mom we're playing hide n seek. Don't tell her where I am at."
No fear this momma didn't give away his hiding spot.

That is it for this week's Wordless Wednesday.

You ask what is Wordless Wednesday. It is a post that has little to no words with many photographs. It gets shared on Wednesday.

Wipes For Dogs Review

I ordered this product to get a little extra help in cleaning my pets. As it is winter in my area. This means my dogs will track in water, snow and muddy paw prints all over the place. the past couple of days it has done nothing but snow and rain like crazy. It starts out rain. but quickly turns to snow.

The product is 100 count wipes for dogs. It comes in apple scent in a resealable container. The wipes are made to leave your dog's coat clean and shiny after use. The wipes are made of a non woven, durable spunlace fabric that is not suppose to fall apart after use. These are designed to be used to wipe the dog's coat, paws, genital areas and ears. It also works wiping the gook around the eye. (Not in the eye)

The wipes has ingredients that are safe for the dog's skin and coat. It works great to wipe the mud and dirt of the paws. Ingredients includes but not all listed are : Water, glycerin, anionic, sodium bicarbonate, aloe barbadensis leaf juice.

My dogs sit patiently as I use these to wipe them off after being out in the snow, rain or mud. I love the pleasant scent. it is not over powering. It is pleasant on the scentces. I can leave one out and my dog does not touch it. Now if it was toilet paper. My dogs would tear it it up no holds bar.

I would recommend this to anyone who needs a little help keeping their pet clean. as these can easily be transported with you wherever you go. You can order these at : http://www.amazon.com/Wipes-Dogs-Resealable-Container-Mavel/dp/B00PYH7ERG

I received this product for free, a deep discount, or I paid shipping and handling. In exchange for an honest review based on my experiences. #PetWipes

WW : Snowflakes As Big As The Dogs

Yesterday in my neighborhood, we finally got some snow to make it look like the winter I know and love around here. It won't last long. As by this weekend temperatures are suppose to reach up in to the sixties. When teenagers think it is time "to wear shorts" weather.

Look how big those snowflakes are, on the end of Moose's nose. They are huge. Neither dog wants any part of snowflakes that big. I open the door with camera in hand. They refused to get off the back step. They wanted back in.

Maybe the dogs know something about that snow that I don't. As they quickly came in, ran towards the front door and window. Proceeded to bark like crazy.

I open the door to see something moving towards in the snow. Was it a snow monster? Up on closer observation. It was no snow monster. It was my significant other covered in snow coming home from work. Ha ha!

Dog Seat belt Review

I had the opportunity to try out the a dog seat belt. A premium adjustable  reflective pet leash. The leash with gel like padded handles. One was a short seat belt. While the other piece was a dog leash with a seat belt combination.

The seat belt / leash combination allows the dog to have room to walk around in a vehicle. Which is great if you have a van. Currently my van is broke down. However, both seat belts attached easily in my small KIA. As you can see from the photo the seat belt easily slips in and connects the seat belt. There is plenty of room for my dog to move around with ease.

Moose did not seem to know what to do after being placed in the car with his seat belt leash. he sat like a statue and did not move. I placed the seat belt leash on him. As he is bigger than my other dog. The seat belt leash worked better for him. As it is teh right size and fit fir him or a larger dog. It was to heavy for my smaller dog rascal who only weights 5.6 lbs.

Now, I want to describe the seat belt leash and buckle more in debt. I mentioned above the seat belt leash was made of gel. It is soft  and feels snug in the hand. The seat belts are a bright red which makes it easily to be seen in any vehicle. No more digger in between seats to find where the leash is to unlatch it or to attach it. I always found black seat belt leashes horrible to work with as they would blend right in. I would recommend this for anyone with a medium to larger size dogs.

I had no issue walking Moose with this leash. The seat belt part is tucked away and covered up. So no harm can come to the dog or me. Moose seems to be a natural at a walking on the new leash. He took to any command with ease. Both of these dogs were rewarded for their good behavior, photo taking and putting up what I wanted them to do with treats.

I also took a quick video to show how well my dog walks on with this seat belt leash. It took a little of coaxing. In the end Moose was running right along with my son having a good old time.

If you are interested, you can find this same seat belt leash  combination at Amazon.com for sale.

WW - New Toy Rope For The Boys

Rascal has decided the new rope toy needs to stay by my grandsons tub that holds his toys. Which sits on the Coca-Cola rug. If anyone moves it, even an inch. Rascal pounces to put it right back. It seems Rascal has found the perfect place for the rope. As he will not let it be moved. It sure is fun playing with rascal and his toy rope.

For today's Wordless Wednesday post. I decided to  show off a new toy for my dogs. It is rather big for rascal my 5.6 lb tiny long haired Chihuahua. However, the little one claims it as his. Anyone who picks it up. Rascal is the one running to grab it from them.

The toy rope is very thick. It has weight to it. If it is dropped on a hardwood floor. It will make you jump. Yes, it is that heavy. Blue and white in color. Prefect for the boys to play with. No pink toys for my boys. Rascal seems to love it, As he drags it around the living room. Trying to figure where he is going to keep it. It isn't as simple for him to hide as his treats.

Don't Get Rid Of Those Photobombs Just Yet

One thing is for sure. My dogs love to photobomb each other and me. This photo was suppose to be a selfie of me. Instead Rascal my 5.6 Chihuahua mix decided he needed to have his picture taken. As he jumped up on my lap and crawled right in front of the camera. He probably saved me from taking a bad selfie.

In this photo I was trying to get a picture of Moose playing with a toy stuffed snake. Rascal appeared out of nowhere looking to join in the fun.

I was trying to get some pictures of Rascal. When Moose ran in front of him, sat down and refused to look at the camera. Thus, blocking the shot I wanted to capture.

Moose makes a better door than a window. He loves to photobomb Rascal.

I was trying to get a photo of my grandson over the summer. While Rascal was sitting on my lap. He popped up just in time when I was snapping this photograph. I almost dropped my camera out of fright. It was to funny.

These are several examples on how an animal can photobomb a photograph. That doesn't mean you need to delete or get rid of the photobomb photographs. You can crop some of them. Others you can use in other articles like this one. Show examples of what you intend to get versus what you get. You will be surprise on the comments you get from others.

Do you have photobombs you would like to share? What do you do with your photobombs?

Grandson Playing - Wordless Wednesday

I tried focusing on my grandson by blurring out the rest of the image. As there is to much going on in the background. I was told this is a trick to help my photo looks better.

My grandson KJ was playing in a tub of toys. I asked him what he was doing. This was his reaction.
