What Boosts My Determination In The Blogging World

I have been participating in a month-long blogging challenge which encourages bloggers to blog once a day. I receive an email daily that gives a suggested topic for those who struggle to come up with a topic of their own. I usually do my own topics. As I keep a never ending list of topics to write on in a notebook. Yet, I liked the topic that was suggested today. The top is "What motivates you to stay blogging and boost your determination?" It wasn't those exact words but the same meaning behind them.

To me, this was an easy one to blog about. I am determined to keep blogging. As next month I plan to buy a domain and hosting for my food blog over on WordPress. I am thinking about doing that for this blog as well. Not sure if I want to transfer this one over to WordPress or keep doing it through Blogger. I plan to see what the difference the two offers. As I have been doing research on which hosting site to choose. I need something within my budget. Which isn't very high.

I have been blogging on this blog since March of 2016. I don't blog every day. I normally blog Monday through Friday and take the weekend off doing family stuff. When I can, I do blog on the weekends.

I do have my own Blogging Facebook group where members share their latest blog link and they help promote other members as well. It is a small group. Not many active members. Yet, the ones that are active are very supportive of each other. When we feel like giving up. We encourage each other to keep going. I feel I have formed a strong bond with those bloggers. Having strong bonds with other bloggers helps to give me the boost I need to keep going. I do believe bloggers should look out for each other and help lift each other spirits up. As we each offer our own twist and unique look at the world. You really can learn a lot from other bloggers. If you take the time to read their blogs too.

Why I Love My Samsung Phone

I do not own a landline. I have not had one in many years. After I moved back to Ohio from Florida. I bought me a Samsung cell phone. I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S4 android phone. I bought it about a month or so ago. As my last phone, I dropped too many times without a case on it. The battery starts to heat up and the phone heats up within ten minutes. I was afraid it might explode on me. So, I purchased what I have now.

Why I Love  My Samsung Phone
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. The color is black. I have had a white one before. The white one shows all the dinks and scratches. where the color black hides them more.
2. It loads faster than my last Samsung, which was a Samsung Galaxy S3.
3. I use several apps on my phone to save money at the grocery stores.
4. It is the only way I can currently take photos for my blogs.
5. I use the app "Let's Go" to sell things from my home to people living in my area.
6. I have a black leather phone wallet I purchased of the "Wish". (Pictured above). It holds my phone and a couple credit cards.
7. I can use it to call or text my family and friends.
8. I can use my phone to play games or play browse through social media.
9. I am able to download an app to turn the sound up or down on my tv. Plus, turn the channels.
10. I can check my email and switch between my email accounts without logging in and back out. Like I have to do on the computer.
As you can tell my Samsung Galaxy S4 saves me time and money.
Do you have a cell phone you love?
Preparing A Garden Tire For Planting
Before the snow started to fall in my area, I decided to prepare an old tire as a garden. The tire is not good to use on a vehicle anymore. It was given to me for free. Tires make a great place to garden. I plan to plant some flowers or a rose bush here. I have not decided yet.
My precious grandson was over for a little while. I was babysitting him. Look at those big beautiful eyes. I love looking into his eyes. They are so dreamy and make me fall deeper in love. My grandson was a big help in helping me prepare the tire, to where I can plant in the spring.
My grandson filled the cup up and helped me pour it into the tire. Cupful by cupful. He is a big helper.
It may have taken a little longer allowing him to him help me this way. Yet, it created some much-needed bonding time. I can tell you my grandson is not afraid to get his hands dirty.
After placing the dirt in the tire. My grandson and I placed a bag of mulch on top of the dirt. Slowly, cupful by cupful. I think he has a knack for gardening. What do you think?
I Spent Less Than A Dollar Making These
One thing I love doing is saving money. I am addicted to seeing how much money I can save. I make a game out of it when I go to the store, order online, or make something at home.
I was able to make all of these for less than a dollar. How was I able to make it less than a dollar. Last time I made homemade laundry soap, I bought all the ingredients back in May of last year. I had  all the ingredients left over except for the Fels-naptha soap. All I needed to do was buy one bar of the soap. Which I found at Menard's for 97 cents.
The recipe take few ingredients
Fels Naptha Laundry Soap Bar & Stain Remover - 5.5 oz - 2 pk
You can also add these ingredients as an option but not necessary to make homemade soap. They do add a pleasant scent to your homemade laundry soap.
The initial cost to make the laundry soap is around $20.00 depending on what you all put in it. Which is still cheaper than paying for laundry soap at the local grocery store or Walmart. Next time you make homemade laundry soap, all you will have to buy is the Fels-naptha soap. Which you should be able to find around 97 cents at your local home improvement store. When looking for ingredient shop around to see where you can find the cheapest prices. That way you are always saving money.
