Dog Seat belt Review

I had the opportunity to try out the a dog seat belt. A premium adjustable  reflective pet leash. The leash with gel like padded handles. One was a short seat belt. While the other piece was a dog leash with a seat belt combination.

The seat belt / leash combination allows the dog to have room to walk around in a vehicle. Which is great if you have a van. Currently my van is broke down. However, both seat belts attached easily in my small KIA. As you can see from the photo the seat belt easily slips in and connects the seat belt. There is plenty of room for my dog to move around with ease.

Moose did not seem to know what to do after being placed in the car with his seat belt leash. he sat like a statue and did not move. I placed the seat belt leash on him. As he is bigger than my other dog. The seat belt leash worked better for him. As it is teh right size and fit fir him or a larger dog. It was to heavy for my smaller dog rascal who only weights 5.6 lbs.

Now, I want to describe the seat belt leash and buckle more in debt. I mentioned above the seat belt leash was made of gel. It is soft  and feels snug in the hand. The seat belts are a bright red which makes it easily to be seen in any vehicle. No more digger in between seats to find where the leash is to unlatch it or to attach it. I always found black seat belt leashes horrible to work with as they would blend right in. I would recommend this for anyone with a medium to larger size dogs.

I had no issue walking Moose with this leash. The seat belt part is tucked away and covered up. So no harm can come to the dog or me. Moose seems to be a natural at a walking on the new leash. He took to any command with ease. Both of these dogs were rewarded for their good behavior, photo taking and putting up what I wanted them to do with treats.

I also took a quick video to show how well my dog walks on with this seat belt leash. It took a little of coaxing. In the end Moose was running right along with my son having a good old time.

If you are interested, you can find this same seat belt leash  combination at Amazon.com for sale.

WW - New Toy Rope For The Boys

Rascal has decided the new rope toy needs to stay by my grandsons tub that holds his toys. Which sits on the Coca-Cola rug. If anyone moves it, even an inch. Rascal pounces to put it right back. It seems Rascal has found the perfect place for the rope. As he will not let it be moved. It sure is fun playing with rascal and his toy rope.

For today's Wordless Wednesday post. I decided to  show off a new toy for my dogs. It is rather big for rascal my 5.6 lb tiny long haired Chihuahua. However, the little one claims it as his. Anyone who picks it up. Rascal is the one running to grab it from them.

The toy rope is very thick. It has weight to it. If it is dropped on a hardwood floor. It will make you jump. Yes, it is that heavy. Blue and white in color. Prefect for the boys to play with. No pink toys for my boys. Rascal seems to love it, As he drags it around the living room. Trying to figure where he is going to keep it. It isn't as simple for him to hide as his treats.

Don't Get Rid Of Those Photobombs Just Yet

One thing is for sure. My dogs love to photobomb each other and me. This photo was suppose to be a selfie of me. Instead Rascal my 5.6 Chihuahua mix decided he needed to have his picture taken. As he jumped up on my lap and crawled right in front of the camera. He probably saved me from taking a bad selfie.

In this photo I was trying to get a picture of Moose playing with a toy stuffed snake. Rascal appeared out of nowhere looking to join in the fun.

I was trying to get some pictures of Rascal. When Moose ran in front of him, sat down and refused to look at the camera. Thus, blocking the shot I wanted to capture.

Moose makes a better door than a window. He loves to photobomb Rascal.

I was trying to get a photo of my grandson over the summer. While Rascal was sitting on my lap. He popped up just in time when I was snapping this photograph. I almost dropped my camera out of fright. It was to funny.

These are several examples on how an animal can photobomb a photograph. That doesn't mean you need to delete or get rid of the photobomb photographs. You can crop some of them. Others you can use in other articles like this one. Show examples of what you intend to get versus what you get. You will be surprise on the comments you get from others.

Do you have photobombs you would like to share? What do you do with your photobombs?

Grandson Playing - Wordless Wednesday

I tried focusing on my grandson by blurring out the rest of the image. As there is to much going on in the background. I was told this is a trick to help my photo looks better.

My grandson KJ was playing in a tub of toys. I asked him what he was doing. This was his reaction.

It is Important To Know What Drives Your Dogs

Rascal is always grabbing the balls when I throw them. Sometimes he will play fetch. Other time he runs off with them. Then proceeds to sit and guard by them from my other dog, Moose. As you can tell by the photograph, Rascal is hard on his toys. I have to keep a nice supply. Otherwise they all end up like the ball in the photograph.

One ball I noticed that seems to last a little longer than most, is the brand name KONG. Which you can buy in many different shapes, sizes and materials.

Moose knows how to tree squirrels. He will bark until he gets a treat. To let me know he has another squirrel in a tree. The Outward Hound Hide-A-Squirrel Holiday Squeaking dog toy helps me to be able to play with my dog without every squirrel in the neighborhood hiding in our trees. This helps him get his natural drive out in play without driving my neighbors and the city squirrels in a frenzy from all the barking.

It really helps to know your dog's breed. Even if they are mixed breeds like my dogs. As the breed information can tell you what drives your dog to do the things he or she does. Knowing this information leads to a happy dog.

Both of my dogs are Chihuahua mixes. Which are known to burrow themselves under blankets, pillows etc. taking their toys with them. This explains a lot about the behavior Rascal displays with his toys and balls.

Many small breed dogs were bred to help hunt or chase other animals. Such as : rats, birds, squirrels and more. Back in earlier times when cities had a rodent problem. Small dogs were trained to keep the rodents out of the kitchen. Which would explain my dogs drive to chase small animals. Such as squirrels.

Gnome Workshop Bluetooth Foldable Selfie Stick

I received a "Gnome Workshop Bluetooth Foldable Selfie Stick" for free, a deep discount or I only paid shipping and handling for an honest review. based on my experiences. I have always wanted a selfie stick since they first came out. As I have short arms. Which makes it hard to take selfie photos or close ups with loved ones and friends.

The selfie stick came in a cute little box already folded up. The selfie stick folded up is approx. Half the length of my computer keyboard. Which makes it small, compact and easily to take with me anywhere I go.

It is black in color. The top part folds up. You lift the top to place you smart phone in side ways. There are knobs to adjust the selfie stick to any position you would like. There is a button to push once you have your phone and settings in place. You phone needs to have the bluetooth selected. Otherwise you can not take pictures. You also need to charge the selfie stick. You can do that by placing it on a charger at the very bottom of the selfie stick.
I can honestly say if i had to rate this product from 1 to 5. 5 being the highest. I would rate it a 5. As it is everything the seller described it as. It has made my life easier. I no longer have to fight my teenagers for the one bathroom everyone shares. as they try to take a selfie in front of the bathroom mirror.

If you are searching for selfie stick. You can buy this one at Bluetooth Foldable Selfie Stick with shutter button / Monopod - Extends to 31.4 inches - For Taking Amazing Self Portrait Shots on Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, iOS & Android Devices, Cameras and All Other Bluetooth Enabled Devices - Gnome Workshop® - Blue#GnomeWorkshop
