Name of 2 Santas reindeer .........

The TV game show was really close. One contestant was asked to name 2 of Santa's reindeer. The contestant gave a sigh thinking that he had finally been given an easy question, "Rudolph and Olive!"

The host asked the contestant, "We'll accept Rudolph but can you explain Olive?"

The man looked at the host and said, "You know, 'Olive,' the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names..."

He may be an enlightened spiritual prophet, or an intermediary with the divine. He is a conservative force, and may advise the questioner to do the right thing, to stick with what is tried and tested, and to have faith.

Hopes & Fears: The Devil (Reversed)

Detachment. Breaking free. Power reclaimed.

This card can represent a release from bondage, power reclaimed, or a detachment from the material world. It may be a warning to someone who is too restrained and dispassionate that they should allow themselves to loosen up and be wild and ambitious, as restraint can be another form of enslavement.

The Temperance card is often depicted as an individual pouring water or wine from one vessel to another. Temperance is usually female or androgynous, and frequently has wings. Temperance means moderation, and suggests to the questioner that moderation is required in some aspect of life. It can be interpreted as a need to bring balance to the questioner's life, or as a reminder that a compromise between two seemingly incompatible options is often the best option. In addition to this literal meaning, Temperance can also be interpreted as symbolising the blending or synthesis of opposites.

Christmas Ornaments

I am still waiting for my boyfriend to get my christmas stuff out from top of the shed. I have been asking him for several weeks now. Christmas is my favorite time of year. My boyfriend hates it. I think that is why he keeps putting it off.
I am beginning to think I am going to have to try and get them down myself. If I didn't have my grandson during the week. I would of been out there attempting it.
I can't wait to get my Christmas stuff out and put up. I only have small tree. So, I don't have very many ornaments. I also don't have room to place a tree. So, the small one will have to sit on my kitchen table.
Since, I can't experience Christmas as I really want to. I am issuing a Christmas ornament photo challenge to all of you.
The Challenge : To share a photo of a ornament and tell how you acquired it, what it means to you.
Are you up for the challenge?
Photo found through a search on Pixabay for ornaments.

Would you like to partake in this challenge? If you do, please leave a link in the comments area of to the post your wrote. (no matter what website you write for) I would like to read what everyone comes up with.

Giving Pets Christmas Presents

I created this post to about someone giving one of my children a rabbit as a gift for Christmas some years back. It wasn't wanted. Nor was the giver responsible enough to check to see if it was okay before hand.

My question is :
Do you think it is okay to give pets as Christmas gifts?
Why do you feel this way?

Gingerbread Person Challenge

I am in a silly mood and wish to impose a silly challenge. All in fun of course. Are you up for a challenge?
Gingerbread Challenge :
If you were a Gingerbread Person, what would you look like?
As for me, I would be the color of gingerbread. As my skin color is olive. I would have black licorice for my hair. I would have M&M'S for my eyes. That way I could change the color if I wished. I would have gum drops as buttons. White and pink frosting along the edges.
I would have a chef's hat. As I think those are the cutest Gingerbread people. Possibly wearing green boots for the holidays. Holding a mixing bowl and spoon in my hands. Something like in the photo I use for this post.
The photo was created by me. I go by the copyright name of ©Minipin Pixels or ©Sks when creating pixels. I go by ©rusty2rusty when writing or to © my photographs.
I created the pixel above some years ago. In the early years of 2000's. I added a frame in order to share it here without distorting the photo itself.
